Heoninneung is the tomb of King Taejong and Queen Wongyeong, the 3rd generation of Joseon, and the tomb of King Sunjo, the 23rd ruler of the Joseon Dynasty, and Empress Sunwon, Kim. Taejong buried in Heolneung and Sunjo buried in Inreung were kings who ascended to the throne 400 years apart. A. Heolneung (獻陵)

Form of tomb : Ssangneung

Formation of tombs : 1420 (Sejong 2), 1422 (Sejong 4)

Heolneung is the tomb of King Taejong and Queen Wongyeong, the 3rd generation of Joseon Dynasty. When viewed from Jeongjagak, the left side is Taejong and the right side is the tomb of Queen Wongyeong. When Taejong ascended to the throne in 1400, he reorganized the overall system of society, including the central government system, local system, military system, and land tax system, greatly strengthened central government and royal power.

B. Inreung (仁陵)

Form of tomb : Hapjangreung

Formation of the tomb : 1856 (7th year of King Cheoljong), 1857 (8th year of King Cheoljong)

Inneung is the tomb of King Sunjo and Empress Sunwon, the 23rd ruler of the Joseon Dynasty. Sunjo ascended to the throne in 1800 and his great-grandmother, Queen Jeongsun govern the Joseon Dynasty instead. During the reign of King Sunjo, state affairs were in turmoil due to foreign power politics, and social turmoil was also caused by natural disasters and riots.
